is an embodied spiritual care centre exploring the direct spiritual connection available to us through the body
We are a body-based psychotherapy clinic practicing online across Ontario. Our purpose is to invite you into direct contact with your own inner teacher, healer and guide.
Through land, body, and spirit-based practices, we work to resolve separation and step deeper into purpose, connection, and vitality through the body - so that you can be who you came here to be. Our world needs those gifts that only you can offer.

Therapeutic Songwriting for Survivors
Online across Ontario - begins January 2026
Over the course of this 9-week series, we will each be invited to bring a song to life. Blending foundational songwriting skill development with somatic practices in therapeutic-creative expression, you will learn to write, record, and share (if desired) your heart song. With additional group exercises in joyful community singing, ceremony, and creative-somatic practices for courage and resilience, we will build our songs as well as our capacity for connection with ourselves and others. You will also have the option of having your song produced (by me), if you like. No musical experience (or talent!) required, all voices welcome!
Own Your Rhythms: Menstrual Mental Health + Cycle Somatics
Online anywhere
Own Your Rhythms is a 4-week group workshop in Menstrual Mental Health and cyclical (ecological) living. By learning, mapping, and understanding our cycles, we cultivate deeper self-compassion and reverence for the wild world and our place within it. This workshop is geared toward people with periods, though trans-women, post-menopausal women and those without uteruses who resonate with menstruality are all welcome in our space.
Alive as Folk: Intro to Cycle Somatics
Online across Ontario
Cycle Somatics is an ecological model for working with trauma. As the foundations course in Cycle Somatics, Alive as Folk offers a 4-week introduction to working with trauma/stress in an embodied and eco-cyclical way. Rooted in ritual, myth, and the wisdom of the land, we will come together to remember and practice what our bodies already know: that aliveness is available to us in each moment. And there is always a way to feel ourselves back home.
Groups rotate seasonally based on participant interest and my capacity. The next group is Therapeutic Songwriting for Survivors in January 2026. To join a waitlist, reach out below.
Embodied Parenting for PDA:
Low Demand, High Stakes
Online across Ontario
This 6-week group supports parents and caregivers of autistic-PDA children in building somatic strategies that work when things feel high stakes. Here, we go beyond lowering demands (because that often just redistributes them) and consider how to meet the nervous system state beneath a child's behaviour. We also consider how different neurotypes and sensory needs interact across family and relational dynamics, and how to find balance within family systems as a whole.

a bit about emily
My psychotherapy practice is rooted years of intentional meandering in creative arts, folklore, transpersonal somatics, grief work, and community justice organizing. After being diagnosed with PTSD in my teens, I set my heart to finding compassionate ways to repair trauma that were accessible, impactful, and could be shared in community. This brought me to training in embodiment practices like trauma yoga, birthwork, expressive arts, ritual, ceremony, and ancestral practices in digesting activation (trauma) and building resilience. It also brought to the joy of creating, and the wonderment of direct communion with the Sacred that we get to experience in our bodies through the creative act. I hope that through our work together, you can begin to access the Sacred through your own senses too. I take my responsibility in this work quite seriously - which is why I believe it should be done with reverent playfulness, curiosity, and a commitment to the joyful disruption of systems which are no longer habitable for us.
In my personal life, I am an artist and musician, a parent, a nature-lover, an Earth-based spiritual practitioner, and a neurodivergent (autistic) nerd who loves all things magic, folklore, and cycles. When I'm not in the office, I'm probably researching spiritual-somatic-ecological practices and the sensory body as a tool of divine communication, reading the biographies of the female saints, engaging in art-making or music producing, thrifting, snuggling and wrestling my friends, or revelling in the wild world with my partner, kiddo and beloved community.
